LARAA – Lebanese Association for Rehabilitation and Awareness from Addiction to technology is a non-governmental organization, founded in 2017, and registered in Lebanon under number 1237.
We strive for a digital world where everyone uses technology in a safe, responsible, healthy, balanced, and productive ways.
We are dedicated to empowering our society to thrive in the digital age. We are committed to prevent problematic use of technology, to improve the lives of the people suffering from its downsides, and to protect human rights in the digital world.
Provide awareness and prevention for all age groups of society, especially children and adolescents, from the dangers of wrong and inappropriate use of every type of technology.
Conduct cutting edge and interactive workshops for every age to educate people on safe, responsible, healthy, balanced, and productive use of technology.
Treat addicts to technology (assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, rehabilitation, aftercare, and follow up).
Conduct scientific research studies to accurately assess the situation in Lebanon.
Serve as a national resource in the field and propose to policymakers’ ways to reduce adverse effects of technology on individuals, organizations, and society, in a constantly changing digital world.
